Dr. Brian J. Golden, DVM
I attended Colorado State University's school of Veterinary Medicine. During my sophomore and junior years I interned in an equine and exotic animal hospital. I worked at Marineland of the Pacific and Marine World. Upon graduation in 1975, I opened my companion animal hospital - Lake Murray Village Veterinary Clinic in La Mesa. Additionally, I worked as a consulting veterinarian at Sea World on marine mammals and their penguin and exotic bird collection.
The companion animal practice consist of general veterinary medicine, surgery, internal medicine, dentistry and some exotic animal medicine. My goal is to practice quality medicine and give compassionate care to every patient. There is an emphasis on the pug breed as I have had five pugs; Otis, Jasmine, Bella, Samantha, and Hannah.
When not working at my practice, I spend quality time with my family; Sunny, my wife and sons Brad and Rory. We enjoy traveling, cooking gourmet meals taking fishing trips surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, yoga camping and running the dogs at the beach.
I try to live my life to the fullest - both in my professional and personal pursuits.
